  1. Newsbox Fireworks (NBF) are committed to the safe and legal sale of fireworks.
  2. All fireworks products available from NBF comply with the British Standards BS7114 Part 2: 1988. The sale of such items are subject to the Explosives Act 1875, Health and Safety Act 1994, Manufacture and Storage of Explosive Regulations 2005, Fireworks Regulations 2004, and any subsequent statutory, legislation or re-enactment / modification.
  3. It is illegal to sell fireworks to anyone under the age of 18
  4. It is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to be in possession of fireworks in a public place.
  5. All firework products should be used safely and responsibly. Please refer to our firework safety page for further guidelines and pay close attention to all safety instructions provided on firework packaging.
  6. You, the buyer, must ensure adequate and relevant insurance is in place for firework related matters.
  7. We shall not be responsible for any breach of the Terms and Conditions caused by circumstances beyond out reasonable control.

Pricing and Personal Information:

  1. All prices are stated in pounds, inclusive of current VAT rates.
  2. Once we receive your personal information, it is stored on secure servers.
  3. Personal Information received by NBF will never be passed to a third party other than delivery details (if products are ordered via our Mail Order department) to the courier company transporting our products or if they are required by a law enforcement agency.


  1. All offers are subject to availability and while stocks last.
  2. We reserve the right to substitute any out of stock items. Replacement items will be valued the same or greater than that of the original item price.

Damaged Products and Misfiring:

  1. If you consider your goods to be defective in any way, please notify us immediately via email or post, stating the issue and providing a contact telephone number. Upon receiving the complaint, a member of our customer service team will call you as soon as possible to discuss the matter accordingly.

  1. Reasonable care must be exercised when using all firework products (as stated in the General section) and therefore NBF will not be held liable for any damages or costs associated with the misuse of fireworks.
  2. If the defect is caused by misuse, negligence or failure of you to follow the provided instructions regarding the storage, commissioning, installation, use and maintenance of the goods, it will not be classed as the manufacturer’s liability.
  3. Should one of our products fail to function properly, refunds (or if confirmed by NBF, a replacement product) may be issued provided evidence of failure is present. Slight variations in the products firing is expected and we cannot accept responsibility for minor discrepancies for the number of shots fired or the product's firing time.


Additional Mail Order T&C’s:


  1. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard and Paypal. We do not accept payment from American Express of cards registered outside the UK.
  2. Although some personal information is stored on secure servers, no credit card details are stored.
  3. If there is a problem taking payment for all or any part of your order, we will contact you by telephone or email. If the problem is associated with security authorisation of payment, we will look into this when we process the order. Goods will not be dispatched until we have obtained the required security checks and this may delay the delivery of your order, for which NBF will not be liable.
  4. If we decline an order which has already been paid for, we will refund the full amount received by NBF.

Delivery: *For more detailed information regarding delivery arrangements and prices, please contact NBF via e-mail or telephone.

  1. We only delivery to addresses within mainland England, Scotland and Wales, We cannot delivery to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man via our Mail Order site.
  2. Delivery will be made to the address specified when completing your order and the delivery charge will depend on the delivery method and date. This amount is calculated and displayed at the online checkout.
  3. Delivery to secondary addresses will require proof of card holder’s registered address.
  4. We will make every effort to deliver your order within the timeframe selected from the delivery calendar at the checkout and detailed within delivery information. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the date of your delivery and NBF will not be liable for the failure of the delivery due to: circumstances beyond our control, or the customer’s failure to provide NBF with adequate information regarding the supply of goods. We shall contact you to let you know if we are having any problems delivering an item to you within the relevant time frame.
  5. We use a secure delivery carrier and all drivers operate a strict age of sale policy on behalf of NBF. On delivery, if no one aged 18 or over is present, the goods will be returned to NBF and you will be required to pay for the re-delivery of your order.
  6. If you are unable to accept the delivery, we will not refund any charges relating to the failed delivery.
  7. Some orders may arrive in multiple parts. If this is the case, you will be notified of delivery details as soon as possible.
  8. When the item(s) have been delivered and a signature has been obtained, the responsibility of the item passes to you.
  9. Due to a heavy workload around 5th November, orders must be placed prior to 28th October to guarantee delivery for Bonfire Night. Orders can still be placed within this time frame but the delivery date cannot be confirmed. If an order is placed within this period and arrives after Bonfire Night, we have the right to refuse a refund.

Cancellations and Returns:

  1. You have the right to cancel your order up to 7 working days following the receipt of your order by contacting us in writing via the following methods (we regret we cannot accept cancellations via telephone).

  1. If the items have not been dispatched from NBF we will cancel the order and refund the full payment.
  2. If the items have been dispatched and we are unable to stop the delivery, you can refuse to sign for the products. This will return the items to NBF and we can refund the payment excluding all delivery charges.
  3. If delivery has been accepted and the products are unwanted, they may be eligible for return. NBF must be contacted via telephone, post, or e-mail no later than 7 days after the delivery has been signed for to query the matter.

  1. Returns can only be accepted once confirmed by NBF.
  2. If the products are to be returned, normal post or parcel carriers must not be used due to the explosive nature of the goods. The authorised courier company provided by NBF must be used and the return costs must be covered by you.
  3. All items must be returned in the original and undamaged packaging and outer carton. All of the original components must be intact and in a dry condition. Only if the product(s) are in a suitable condition can we refund the cost of the good(s).
  4. Where a refund can be given, it shall be issued within 30 days of the cancellation notice via the payment method used to order our products. All collection charges will be deducted from the credit.


Additional Click and Collect T&C’s:

Our Click and Collect department allows you to pre-order items for collection by you from the retail store.

  1. Fireworks are not paid for until you arrive at the retail store to collect your order. We are unable to accept payment via online methods or via telephone.
  2. Items ordered from the Click and Collect department are never delivered to any address.
  3. You agree to purchase the total order unless you are unhappy with a substitute product (When some items are out of stock we may substitute a similar product).
  4. We reserve the right to cancel the order and/or refuse to serve any customer at our discretion.
  5. Orders will be cancelled under the following circumstances:
  6. The person purchasing the fireworks is believed to be under the age of 18. This is a legal requirement and is non-negotiable.
  7. Thought to be fraudulent in any manner.
  8. Items are not picked up at the arranged date/time after 48 hours.
  9. Orders placed via click and collect will have to be collected within 7days of ordering. After this period, we cannot guarantee the availability of items ordered.
  10. By placing an order for collection via our Click and Collect department, you agree to these terms and conditions.
  11. All hazardous items (both indoor and outdoor pyrotechnics) cannot be returned once purchased and all sales are final. This is due to the nature of the products which cannot be resold once they have been in the hands of the consumer as they could potentially be damaged or tampered with. Sorry NO refunds from Click and Collect or purchased in store.
